Expectations

It bursts forth in bloom

I have been waiting

expecting

knowing.

I did not worry

through the delay

believing that the time

would come when

hidden beauty within

would grace the branches.

So true of my little tree.

So true of others.

Those that I am praying for ...

Dear ones the Lord

is molding

for His glory

deep on the inside.

Soon hidden beauty will burst forth

declaring the works of God

boldly

so the whole world might see

in my child

in my friend

in my life

Great things that I have

believed for ...

trusting God

I am refusing to worry

I expect to see what I have believed.
