I am praying these verses today ...
"And this I pray, that your love may abound still
more and more in knowledge and all
discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent ..."
(Pause)
I want to pray this verse for so many people that I know!
My children ...
My spouse ...
Friends ...
Loved ones ...
Neighbors ...
Etc. ...
But mostly I want to pray it for myself ...
Paul was praying these words for others ...
He prayed that their love would abound
still
more and more
in
knowledge and
discernment ...
and the result would be "that
they would approve the things that are excellent ..."
WoW!
As I ponder his words at this moment they stir me ...
I need more love
So that ...
(Pause)
I will be praying these words today ... for others ...
and for myself ...
So that we might abound ...
more and more ...
