expecting Him to hear ...
knowing He will handle with care ...
it is Hannah in the temple before the conception of Samuel ...

it is Mary at the tomb ...
it is sorrow searching for hope ...
despair reaching for beauty ...
it is faith holding onto what it cannot see ...
it is pain needing healing ...
travail ...

Oh Cheri, this is exquisite writing, extremely beautiful, yet intense, speaking to the deepest part of my heart. I have a family situation that has me in "travail". I love how you expressed it as "sorrow searching for hope"; "despair reaching for beauty".
